Sponsored events

One of the best ways to raise money whilst having fun and possibly achieving a lifetime ambition is by doing a sponsored event, be it a Marathon, bike ride, walk, climb, bungee jump, whatever your event every penny you raise will support our work in Bolivia.

Here's what Vicky got up to:

Vicky Stent ran for the Bath Half Marathon in aid of CIWY, thank you to everyone who sponsored her, your generosity helped raise almost £300. Here's a gorgeous picture of Vicky at the start of the race, she's the one on the left dressed as a very appropriate CIWY monkey.

Dave Boyer teaches 7th Grade Kernersville Middle School, North Carolina, here's how him and his class got involved:

I am great friends with Crystal Ramsey who is a frequent volunteer at CIWY. She works with cats and is in vet school currently. Crystal came to my school in December to talk to my 115 students about CIWY. In honor of her visit we raised money to donate to CIWY. They took tremendous efforts to bringing in donations, recycling aluminum cans for money, talking to neighbors and the community about CIWY, sacrificing birthday and Christmas money, and other selfless acts to raise $2,300.
