Our work simply could not happen without our amazing supporters who raise the money that funds it. Why not join one of the many people who support us actively every year by fundraising? From sporting events to cake sales, salsa nights to cross-country bike rides, fundraising is a fun and challenging way to raise vital funds for our work.
Plus, since costs are not as high in Bolivia as in other countries, what may seem like a small amount to friends and family can make a big difference to the animals and our work here.

We’d love to have you join Team Inti Wara Yassi. There would be no minimum fundraising amount to raise, we’d simply ask you to raise as much as you can to support the animals cared for in our three Wildlife Custody Centres. To let us know that you’ve got your own place and you’d like to run for Inti Wara Yassi, email firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘London Marathon’ in the subject line.

Dave Boyer teaches the 7th Grade at Kernersville Middle School, North Carolina, here's how he and his class got involved and supported CIWY:
"I am great friends with Crystal Ramsey who is a frequent volunteer at CIWY. She works with cats and is in vet school currently. Crystal came to my school in December to talk to my 115 students about CIWY. In honour of her visit we raised money to donate to CIWY. They took tremendous efforts to bringing in donations, recycling aluminium cans for money, talking to neighbours and the community about CIWY, sacrificing birthday and Christmas money, and other selfless acts to raise $2,300."

Even if you can’t get out to Bolivia to physically donate your time to Inti Wara Yassi, you could still donate your time through payroll giving. Payroll giving is a scheme that allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax-free basis to the UK registered charity of their choice – i.e. Friends of Inti Wara Yassi. Payroll giving donations are deducted before tax so, for each £1.00 you give, it will only cost you 80p (and if you are a higher-rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p).
Can you afford to donate one hour of your time? Contact your HR department for information on how to set it up.
