Quest Overseas

Quest Overseas

Quest Overseas provides gap year programs in volunteering, community and conservation projects, expeditions and adventure travel in South America and Africa. CIWY is fortunate to be part of some of these programs, and since 2002 has received groups of students that carry out construction work and animal care. Quest Overseas has played a vital role in CIWY’s development and expansion, as much for the help of its volunteers as for the financial support it provides.

In 2002, thanks to the support of Quest Overseas, we managed to purchase 806 hectares of land, which is now Parque Ambue Ari, helping us make our dream of owning our own land for the animals come true. They have also supported us in the construction of many animal enclosures and volunteer buildings, in Parque Ambue Ari as well as Parque Jacj Cuisi.

Each year CIWY welcomes two to three Quest groups at its wildlife centres, each of which carry out construction work as well as assisting with the day-to-day care of animals. If you would like to find out more about the exciting programs that Quest Overseas offers, please visit their website.
